How Do We Prevent Your Carpet From Molding.
Here are our steps of extracting the water from the carpet.
It is very important not to leave your carpet as it is after water or any liquid had been spilled. The longer it is kept sitting on the carpet, the more likely-hood of developing mold on the rug. However, if that so happens by accident, we assure you that we can take care of that, after all it is partly what we exist for.
Here follows some of the steps we take to remove the mold on the carpet which you too can also do yourself if you wish.
First, we have to extract any excess water from the carpet by using a specialized wet-vac.
Carpet Pro-Tip: Do not use a normal vacuum to do that. It will only make it harder to extract the water, resulting in mold.
Next, we use a form of enzyme-cleaner, saturate the wet area on the carpet, and then repeat the process of water-extraction with the wet-vacuum again.
And then for the last step, we air out the remaining water by a specialized powered fan to extract any left over water. That's it!
If you are trying this yourself and it doesn't seem to work, contact a local carpet cleaning company in Bath or call one of our carpet experts and ask for guidance.
